
VOLUNTEER
There are a few ways to volunteer at BrainLife:
1. Regular volunteers
Our regular volunteers help out in our therapy groups as well as everything and anything else that needs doing. Most importantly, they are kind people who focus on validating our group members.
If you are interested in becoming a regular volunteer, we recommend you first slot in with our group of regular volunteers for a day to give it a try. This will help you to get a feel for who we are and what we do at BrainLife before becoming an official volunteer.

Mondays and/or Wednesdays
Morning sessions: 09:00-12:30
Afternoons sessions: 12:00-15:30
BrainLife Mamelodi
Thursdays
Full day: 09:00-14:00
2. Occasional volunteers
People who cannot commit to regular volunteering but would love to help out when their schedule permits can slot in with our group of occasional volunteers. We keep them in the loop with our programme and events. They are always welcome to help out now when they can.
3. Corporate volunteers
Our doors are always open for corporate teams to lend us a helping hand. We welcome the opportunity to educate businesses about acquired brain injury and to give employees first-hand experience of people with special needs. We believe it is important for our investors to see the real need we have for their partnership and to witness the impact their contribution is making on the ground.
We are flexible with our approach to hosting corporate volunteer teams and can tailor your visit according to your unique needs. Visits generally involve music therapy or art and craft activities.
We suggest joining us on Fridays for a morning of fun activities, followed by a lunch braai with our Mamelodi Kaofela members.
